Does hot water removes all kinds of stain? MYTH
Although hot water is sometimes the best choice for laundry it is NOT the best choice for general stain removal.
Why not you ask? Well, with hot water you run the RISK of setting the stain rather than removing it!
It DEPENDS is Correct! that is depends on the type of stain and its location (fabric, upholstery, or carpet) and either cool or cold water is recommended.
Check out temperature requirement below!
Cool Water (85 – 100 degrees F or 29 – 38 degrees C) is gentle on fabrics ad minimizes the chances of dye lost.
Cold Water (65 – 85 degrees F or 18 – 29 degrees C) is particularly effective on certain types of stains such as blood. It is also recommended on upholstery and carpet because it will remove any previously used solutions without harming sensitive dyes.
