Why do we remember?

Posted on April 19, 2019 by Irene in Parent Category I - No Comments
Have you ever watch your kids and got amazed on how fast the time flies?
Looking at your teenager or even your toddler and did not know how they get there.
It seems to be yesterday they are your tiny baby.

Have you ever lost someone?
Then found yourself spending time with their pictures and memorabilia to remember them.
Sometimes, their memories suddenly comes back and made cry or smile.

Have you ever seen the Passion of Christ movie?
Some critics says it is too much, it is unbearable.
Passion is define as strong and barely controllable emotion.

Why do we remember the passion of Christ? We remember because it is a story of true love, an unconditional love.

When do people say that you have passion in what you do?
People say you are passionate when you love what you do.
When you give time, effort and yourself to it sometimes, too much of yourself.

Christ have passion for us. He loves us too much in human term, I think.
But, there is no such thing as too much for him. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Jn 3:16
His is true and unconditional love.

Why do we remember Easter?
We celebrate Easter because it is a story of hope.

Have you ever had a time in your life that you feel so tired?
Not just tired physically but emotionally.
Feeling like a burning candle.

Tired of what people do to you?
Tired of what is going on in our world?
Tired of pain or sickness?

Easter is a story of hope for everyone.
A hope that someday, there will be no more hunger.
No more pain or sickness. No more tiredness.

A hope that someday, an unconditional love will come from each and everyone.

May you and everyone around you have a wonderful Easter! Celebrate hope!
